Story
So after countless years of dodging every fitness session (and salad) forced upon me with a range of imaginatively created 'injuries', I decided the time was right to make amends and pay my calorie burning debt by signing up for the London Marathon 2018... And doing so for a fantastic cause.
After going to watch the marathon earlier this year, I was blown away by the achievements of those competing. After questioning my sanity for a week or so and knowing full well I'd have to skip a few nights out, I decided to sign up and do the same. Madness...
Like many, I was incredibly saddened by the story of Bradley Lowery in his fight against neuroblastoma. And whilst his life ended in such a terribly premature way, the fact that he was able to meet some of his heroes and have such fantastic experiences in his final days was incredibly heartening. This inspired me to want to do all I can (and put myself through my idea of hell) to help do the same for other children going through similarly awful circumstances.
So please donate what you can to a fantastic cause, helping kids who have been dealt a seriously rubbish hand have great experiences to help ease their pain.
Thank you so much.

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold. We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!
