Story
After completing my first marathon in Dublin in 2014 I vowed never to submit myself to the same torture again. Strangely though the memory of how tough it was has faded (slightly) but the feeling of crossing the line has not, so a few years (and kg’s..) more senior - we go again. This time I’ll be heading to Scotland to run 26.2 miles along Loch Ness.
The Alzheimer’s Society deliver exceptional support and are a charity I am always keen to support where possible. Should you have a spare quid or two any donation would be hugely appreciated.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
