Story

I am running the Falmouth Half Marathon in memory of Tania Blight. She was cruelly taken from us far, far too soon at a very young age after a battle with Bile Duct Cancer. She received care in Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in her final weeks and the care she was given was absolutely amazing from the team who do such an important and difficult job. Tania was a keen runner and I know she will be looking down upon this race wishing she was running too.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and go towards such a worthwhile cause. The money you donate will help people in their darkest days.

Please support our runners by donating. You can make a difference and help your hospices here in Cornwall to provide the support that is so needed in your community.St Julia's and Mount Edgcumbe Hospices are less than 20% funded by the NHS, the rest comes from you. Helping to fund the only adult hospices in Cornwall means that families can make the most of those treasured last moments for our patients.Just £24 will fund an hour of nursing care - let's see how many hours we can fund now.
