Story
Hello one and all and WELCOME to my JustGiving page!
For those of you that have not journeyed here from the wondrous world of Facebook i will try my best to make sure i post any news and photos up here too!
The premise is that this coming summer, following the success of Mont Blanc back in July, i have decided against leisurely trips away and instead plan on competing in the Edinburgh and Berlin Marathons.
Just to make the whole experience that much more difficult Tom Ray, Tom Saggers and I will be recklessly attempting to cycle from Santander to Paris in the space of 8 days!
Ideally i'd love anyone, who'd like to, to join me along the way and make the experience more enjoyable so get in touch and get involved!
My chosen charity is the Cystic Fybrosis Trust. The organisation is the UK's only charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fybrosis. The Trust and its supporters fund research to treat, and ultimately, to cure Cystic Fybrosis, and strives to do evrything it can to support and care for sufferers of Cystic Fybrosis, and their friends and families. Cystic Fybrosis is a terrible disease, affecting the sufferer's internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe and digest food. Only around half the CF population can expect to live past the age of 38, and many die much, much younger. CF is one of the UK's most common life-threatening inherited diseases, with 1 in 25 of the population carrying the faulty gene.
Please give generously to this worthy cause. The Cystic Fybrosis Trust, and those that could not cope without the support it provides every day, cannot thank you enough for anything you can give.
