First of all, thank you for taking the time to log in to this site and looking at my page. I am raising money for my school's exchange with Malosa School in Malawi. Every year a number of students from Aylesbury Grammar raise as much as we can to help the children in Malawi in whatever way possible: whether its repainting their chapel or setting up computers in their new ICT room to taking Malosa students back to England in an opportunity they will never have had and probably never will again. We believe we can make a real difference to their lives and we can only do that if everyone does as much as they can, which is why in September I am going to be competing in the Diamond Tri Sprint Triathlon, centred around Dorney Lake in Eton (more information below), which is half the Olympic standard triathlon and includes a gruelling 750m swim across open water. In conclusion, I really hope you will support me with this project and if not, thank you anyway for spending your time reading my page.

Sprint Triathlon – 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
The most popular distance on the UK Triathlon scene, the sprint triathlon is a great event in its own right and an excellent way to build speed and endurance for an Olympic distance race further down the line.

A 750 metre swim will see you take on one large lap in the calm, clear waters of Dorney Lake followed by a multi-lap course around the grounds of Eton’s premier sporting location. The run offers a number of great places for spectators to cheer you on and as its fast and flat, you’ll be sure to post a speedy time.
