Story

On the 6th of April 2018 I was diagnosed with a rare kind of inoperable brain tumour on my brain stem.

For treatment, I completed 24 rounds of proton beam radiotherapy in Jacksonville, Florida on the 12th of July.

Less than 12 months on, I plan on running the Leeds 10k to raise money for the fantastic charity Brain Tumour Research Society.

BTRS provided me with support after diagnosis and during my treatment period.

They help fund research into the field of brain tumours to help combat the disease.

On a personal note - if we can raise enough money to return the support BTRS gave me or help fund some vital research then that would be brilliant.

In terms of the actual 10k race, I aim to beat my time of 58:48 set in 2017.

Wish me luck!
