Story
We (John, James & Tom) are going to cycle 200km in order to raise money for Severn Hospice and mark 1 year since our amazing sister Nicola passed away.
In April 2019 Nicola started to experience stomach pains which then developed into an aggressive form of bowel cancer. On June 30th 2019, she sadly passed away.
Nicola spent her last days at Severn hospice and they were fantastic. She was cared for around the clock by expert doctors and nurses, who not only were experts in their field, but showed true care and devotion to their work. Nicola had her own room and even had space for her dog Rommel to be by her side until the end.
The hospice runs purely on donations and the generosity of the general public. Given how amazing they were to our family and many others across the UK, we want to give something back. We know that the current circumstances are hard for all including many charities across the UK, but please give what you can for this amazing cause.
Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you.For every £1 you donate, they will spend 86p directly on care - and use the remaining 14p to make another £1.Last year, all those individual donations helped us provide £9.88 million of caring services.
Thank you!
