I’m part of the support team for this epic cycle ride that officers from Thames Valley and Hampshire are completing across 3 days. We’re raising money for the brilliant Care of Police Survivors charity. 

A charity which my family very very nearly came close to becoming involved with in September last year when I was seriously injured on duty, fortunately I survived but just in the last year two fellow officers from Thames Valley haven’t been so lucky.

I’m raising money in memory of one of these, PC Kevin Flint who tragically lost his life earlier this year. Whilst I’d not ever met Kevin it is his sister-in-law who had taught me the skills which saved my own life. His brother is a serving special inspector within Thames Valley also.

We have 29 riders, a support team of 5. We are participating in memory of 17 fallen TVP officers and 16 fallen Hampshire officers, all of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice.

I’d be so grateful if you could support me in raising money for this brilliant charity.
