Hey! So, in September Leigh, Tom and myself (also Tom) are cycling to France in order to raise money for Beads of Courage. This is the charity of choice because its very close to home for me.

So lets rewind, in 2020 my partners cousin (Phoebe) was diagnosed with one of the worlds most cruel illnesses - Cancer.

Phoebe is only 2 years old but is the cutest, most beautiful little girl. Her smile is capable of lighting up the room even in the darkest of moments. Not once through her treatments has she moaned or not co-operated. Phoebe has continued to be the brave, fun, ball of energy she has always been. She is well on her way to a full recovery but the road is long.

Beads of courage provide little beads that get threaded in order to represent a child's journey. They empower the child to take charge of their healthcare by providing a simple visual aid and representation for what they have been through and are going through.

It may not seem like much to many but to those they help it truly matters.
