On the 20th March 2011 I will be running the Reading Half Marathon. I'm trying to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. They care for people suffering with dementia, and conduct research into the causes of and treatment for Alzheimer's Syndrome, a truely awful and cruel condition which touches so many people's lives.

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who gave so generously for my Brighton Marathon run last year, all the comments were brilliant and around mile 22, played a big part in getting me to the finish line.

I'm likely to be running the Berlin Marathon later in the year, and if I meet my target now, I promise not to ask again for that race.
