Story
I've been running for over ten years now as a hobby (to various degrees of success) and now is the time to give my dodgy knees the ultimate test.
Running has helped me enormously through difficult times. By giving me some vital headspace, getting out and going for a run has so often turned a bad day into a positive one. Particularly during the pandemic.
I often wonder though, what am I doing this for? So it's time to take on a challenge.
In 2021 I became a Father for the first time to my beautiful daughter Billie so I want to take this on to make her proud and to make a positive contribution. With that in mind the perfect charity to run for is the NSPCC.
We are doing everything we can to give Billie the best upbringing we can, so it's heartbreaking to think that not every child is growing up in a safe environment.
In running for the NSPCC and raising some money, I hope to make a small difference for children that are at risk.
Any contributions would be gratefully received, and will serve as motivation to keep going during the cold winter months!
Lots of Love,
Tom
