Participants: A group including my brother John, friends and colleagues.

Story

The London to Brighton bike ride is a great event and the 56 mile route passes through some of the wonderful parts of our countryside and villages, with a few hills thrown in for good measure, such as the renowned beacon at Ditchling !

I have chosen to raise some money for the Chigwell Riding Trust as my youngest son, Piers, has cerebral palsy and has been riding here for over 10 years, through which time his posture has improved immensely and he has developed skills he would otherwise not have done.

This year is the 50th anniversary of the centre and they would love to raise £50,000 and I would like to add to that pot one way or other.
It is a very special place, run by a remarkable lady, her husband and extensive volunteer support. They receive no government funding and as so many charities do, have to raise their own funds to survive.

Link to their website is:  http://www.chigride.co.uk/

Please donate as much as you can afford. It is an immensely worthwhile cause.

Thank you

Tom
