This September my friend Harry Page and I are going to be travelling to the city of Gonder, in northern Ethiopia, to lend a hand teaching children English Communication Skills. We are doing this because we hope that, with our help, they can attain a better standard of life for themselves thanks to education. I can't tell you how much we are looking forward to it!

 

While we are in Ethiopia we have decided that we are going to attempt to tackle the Great Ethiopian Run, which is an event covering 10 kilometers around the capital city of Addis Ababa, which lies at 2,300 meters above sea level.

 

The reason we are going to do this? Simple .….. to raise as much money as we possibly can in order to fund the provision of at least one fresh water source in a school in Gonder. We, in the rich west, take access to fresh water for granted. These children cannot. So I am asking for your donations, however great or small. I assure you that your generosity will be helping others in a way you cannot comprehend. Just a few pounds can make a difference and the more funds we can raise the more we can do to help the children of Ethiopia.
