Story
Earlier this year my Grandad unfortunately lost his short battle with cancer. I not only lost a Grandad but I lost my best friend. The person who I idolised and would run every major life decision by because he always had the answers. I will miss him forever and hope that he is watching somewhere and proud of the decisions that I continue to make without his input.
Before he passed away, I told him that some friends and I planned to do a charity bike ride and asked where he would like the money raised to be donated to. Without hesitation he chose Cancer Research. So on the 21st of September a group of 6 of us plan to ride from Morecambe to Bridlington and raise as much money as possible along the way for this amazing charity.
Unfortunately I don't think that I know anybody who hasn't been touched by cancer whether it be a family member, a friend or even themselves. I think this shows how important this charity really is and it is certainly one close to my heart.
If you can afford anything at all please donate to our page and help beat cancer!
