This September, I shall be running the Morrisons Great North Run in honnor of mine and many others dearest friend, Rachel Blaylock. 

Last year on the third of August, Rachel lost her life in a horrific car accident. My friends and I, along with countless others were left heartbroken, and remain so til this day. She had been planning on entering the half marathon herself, but unfortunately she never got the chance. Rachel made it well known among her friends of all the effort she was putting in to her preparation, with various diets and training schemes. A group of us have decided not to let her efforts be in vein, and are going to follow in her footsteps to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance, her selected charity.

My target is to raise at least £500 as an individual, which will of course be part of our combined effort. Any donation, no matter what size, is appreciated.

We all miss Rachel "Blay" immensely, and not a day goes by when each and everyone of us doesn't think about her. That being said, she lives on within the hearts of all those who knew her, and we aim to make her proud by completing this run in her name and raising as high an amount as possible for her charity.
