Story
I love running. And I have Multiple Sclerosis. Why not use the one to help the other?
On October 2, 2022, I'm running 26.2 miles in the 2022 TCS London Marathon to support the MS Society UK.
Would you help me? All donations go to fund the amazing work that the MS Society UK is doing.
My backstory:
I was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting MS in April 2016. This will be my 9th Marathon since my diagnosis and my 25th overall. I want to show that going through something difficult doesn't have to define you.
A little bit about Multiple Sclerosis:
MS is an unpredictable and incurable condition that affects people's nervous systems. It can attack suddenly or progress steadily, bringing a range of symptoms which can include sight loss, incontinence, fatigue, and mobility problems.
The MS Society UK funds vital research into the causes of MS and possible treatments. They provide a helpline service, answering the calls of those looking for advice and support. They believe that together, we are strong enough to stop MS.
Together, we're making a difference. Thank you!
