Story
Hi everyone, first off thanks for visiting my JustGiving page and taking the time out to read this!
In May coming up to a year ago I lost a massive part of my life and someone who really shaped the person I am today when my older brother Joe passed away. He collapsed during a football match due to an undiagnosed heart condition - he was 23 years old. Every week in the UK at least 12 fit, young people die suddenly from an undiagnosed heart failure.
I honestly think that these sorts of tragedies could be so easily avoided simply by carrying out regular heart screenings and making sure that every sports ground in the country has a defibrillator on site. So, in June I will be attempting to raise a load of money for the British Heart Foundation by cycling the 50 something miles from London to Brighton. The BHF do amazing work, raising awareness for various heart conditions and carrying out much needed research so your donations really make a difference.
I know a lot of you reading this are Students and so money is gonna be tight but even giving £1 would be awesome!
Thanks so much in advance for your donations, it honestly means a huge amount to me! Peace
