We support people at risk of homelessness to make sure there's a home for everyone

Story

We are is in the midst of a housing crisis - homelessness has soared by 40% in the last five years. It’s a shocking figure. That’s why I’m supporting Shelter by taking on Vertical Rush 2016, London’s toughest tower running challenge. On 8 March 2016 I’ll be powering up London’s original skyscraper Tower 42, climbing a ridiculous 932 steps. So from now on I’ll be running up the escalators and sprinting up the stairs, as part of my rigorous training programme to make sure I’m in tip top condition for the big day. The UK's severe housing shortage affects each and every one of us – whether we face rising house prices, unaffordable rents, or worry about where our children and grandchildren will live. Imagine losing your job, losing your home, and having no idea when you’ll find another place for your family to live. Thousands of families don’t have to imagine. So please, please, give as much as you can, so Shelter can continue their fantastic work.
