RideLondon 2022 · 29 May 2022 ·
Once again, I am taking part in the London Ride 100 on Sunday 9th May, this year is a new course switching from London and Surrey to London and Essex. This will be my second London Ride 100, my first being pre-pandemic in 2019 and I am very privileged to be riding for the National Autistic Society, as I did that year.
Our son Miles was diagnosed in 2016 with Autism and ADHD the
following year. This dual diagnosis has often been tricky to navigate. The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for people on the autism spectrum and their families. They continue to provide us with guidance, support, information, and training opportunities on his diagnosis, education, mental health and Coronavirus – all of which have made the journey we have been on with Miles far more manageable. The challenges we have faced as a family have been nowhere near so lonely as they could have been had we not known about them.
It is for this reason I have chosen them again as my charity
for this years Ride 100. The National Autistic Society do amazing work and this year is their 60th anniversary – they deserve to be celebrated!!
I would be very grateful if you would dig deep and sponsor me, the more money donated the less painful each Mile will be.
Thank you for your time reading this.
