Some of you know me well, others not so. Some of you know the 4 of us (the Hodgson sibling clan) through different phases of life. So I (we) would really appreciate it if you could support us in our 'sibling' challenge of 2023... it's all for charity mate!!.
It's not often we all manage to be in one place, considering we live in different countries. So we thought this would be a great opportunity to be together and push ourselves for a good cause. It also takes us back to a place where we spent a lot of our childhood with our grandmother. I am sure there will be a few aches & pains after the event ....but it will be worth it on so many fronts!
Action Medical Research are the leading UK charity funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children and young people. At Action Medical Research we are determined to stop the suffering of babies and children caused by disease and disability. By supporting us, you are helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.Teams of two or four are taking part in this extremely tough dawn to dusk event where they will cycle 22 miles off-road route with 2500ft of ascent around Coniston's challenging terrain, navigate a 2-mile course on Coniston Water, and finally summit the Old Man Of Coniston, one of the Lake District's most iconic peaks with an altitude of 803m, on a 7 mile round trip to raise money for this incredible cause.
