Story
In the end the symmetry was impossible to ignore : I turn 40 on 21st March....and 10 days later marks the 20th anniversary of Mum's death as an indirect consequence of MS. She was diagnosed in 1988 with the 'galloping' version of the disease, which affects only around 10% of sufferers and is principally distinguished by being remission-free and delivering an accelerated onset of the normal symptoms.
So....I am taking on the London Marathon in April to raise as much as I can for the MS Trust, who for many years have focussed their energies on ensuring as normal a life as possible for those unfortunate enough to be diagnosed. They do some truly remarkable work and every penny makes a major difference.
So please give whatever you can. Thanks so much!
Toby
