In the heady aftermath of 2017's Bath Half, I signed up to run again this year. Little did I know that in March 2018 I would be a sleep-deprived dad with a 3 month old son and very little training under my belt... This year will definitely be harder than 2017!

Jamie's Farm is a charity that strikes a chord with me, due to my very brief foray into teaching & some of the reasons I didn't get on with it. They transform the lives of vulnerable young children in challenging urban schools, whose needs aren't catered for by the standard schooling system. Students learn skills & disciplines which aren't covered by the curriculum, meaning that they can return to school with a better chance of succeeding.

I've visited Jamie's Farm through my company, Reside Bath, and their  involvement with the Bath Percent Club, a local group of businesses who commit to put time or money back into the community through local charities. I can testify to the remarkable work they do, and the extraordinary people who both run the farm, and attend it. This run, your contributions and Reside's donation is our way of helping Jamie's Farm to continue making a difference to those who need it the most.
