Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 6th April 2014, I will be running The Brighton Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.
This is a charity that is very close to my heart. My Grandad suffered from this terrible disease, and I will be running in his memory.
Any donation you can make, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated from both myself and The Alzheimers Society.
The Alzeimers Society are working to improve the quality of life of those affected by dementia. I cannot stress enough the importance of this work, and the benefits it has on those who suffer from this disease, and their loved ones.
Money donated will be put towards funding important research that will help us to improve the quality of life for people with dementia, by tackling questions related to the causes of dementia, investigating good practice in care and treatment, and pursuing a cure.
The money also helps provide practical services and support for people with dementia and their carers.
Your donation and support will also give me that extra motivation in my training. I am also hoping that this support will give me the final push needed towards the end of the marathon that will hopefully get me over the finish line, 26.2 miles later!
Thank You
Toby
