Story
Mum never liked me running too much;
said it was ‘bad for my knees’ and that she ‘read each marathon takes a year off your life’. In January last year we lost her; pancreatic cancer doing what pancreatic cancer so often cruelly does.
Hopefully she won’t mind me running this one. I’m running for Macmillan, who on a few occasions after her diagnosis were super helpful in talking me through some of the worries I had, or just listening when i needed to vent.
I know things are tight financially for everyone at the moment, but if you’re able to donate just a little I know she’d really appreciate it, and so would I.
