Story
I am tackling the demons and the escapism that alcohol brings, I want to challenge my self and raise money for a worthy charity that supports kids that need assistance.
When I was 15 i was in all my top sets at school, Maths English Science French History Geography etc, unfortunately I got expelled from school as I'm sure many of you are aware due to what I believe was my un-diagnosed ADHD.
No school in Kent would accept me and I had to endure home schooling for 8 months at my late grandparents house where I continued only maths and English for obvious reasons.
I then got accepted into Glebelands school in Harrietsham which was a residential unit as well as a day centre, the kids were from troubled backgrounds and came from a fractured upbringing and broken schooling. Some of the kids were vulnerable and were in desperate need of structure, support and to be safe.
I continued my education there and valued the support, assistance and time the unit gave to myself and all the other kids to help us on our way.
The Caldecott foundation from my research provides the same service as what I received all them years ago and therefore ask you to donate generously so I can provide directly with items that the kids will benefit from.
The money will not be going to the bank account of the charity but directly to the physical needs of the children.
