Caring for orphans is a significant part of Islam.

Innocent people in Gaza have paid a terrible price for the years of war and conflict that surround them, but none have suffered quite like Palestinian orphans. The unrest in Gaza has made life hard for these children. Many of them have become orphans, losing one or both of their parents, because of the violence that has invaded their lives. Being an orphan myself I know how hard life is to grow up without a parent, so I am doing this in the memory of my father, as a sadaqah jaria for him, so please kindly donate as much as you are able to, whether it is £1 £10 or £100 just something to give to these little kids who really need us.
