Story
We are supporting the Rainbows Hospice in recognition of the great work that the team there do. I have close friends who have had first-hand experience of the dedicated and caring Rainbow’s team doing a very heart-breaking job.
Rainbows is dedicated to meeting the needs of children and young people affected by life limiting and life threatening conditions.
Based in Loughborough the charity seeks to help relieve symptoms, improve quality of life and support families thru their bereavements and care of children until the end.
To raise money for this great cause, I along with my brother and two close friends plan to walk the entire National Forest Way, which extends 75 miles (120km) from the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffs to Beacon Hill Country Park in Leics.
We will begin our walk from the NMA at first light Saturday May 02nd, and continue until we reach Loughborough - hopefully by Sunday pm !
I realise that requests for donations come thick and fast, but this really is a great cause that deserves our help, please give if you can - every little helps !
Sincere thanks for all of your support.
