TMT Fasting for Yemen · 13 May 2019

Yemen is facing the world's worst humanitarian crisis with more than 14 million people facing starvation. Action Against Hunger is one of the few aid organisations on the ground, treating malnutrition and providing medical support and clean water.

Story

The TMT sector are fasting Monday the 13th in Ramadan to support Action Against Hunger's Yemen Crisis Appeal because we want to help save the lives of those in urgent need.

As violence in Yemen nears its fourth year, the country is facing the world's worst humanitarian crisis. More than 14 million people are facing starvation and an estimated 85,000 children may have died from extreme hunger since the start of the conflict.

Action Against Hunger is on the ground, delivering lifesaving support through the treatment of malnutrition, medical assistance and provision of clean, safe drinking water, as well as providing support for families that have been displaced during the conflict.
