TLG (Transforming Lives for Good) is a Christian charity that helps churches to bring hope and a future for struggling children. From school exclusion, to poverty and holiday hunger, there are children across the UK facing some of the toughest starts in life. TLG are all about believing change is possible and that's why in all their work lies an unchanging resolve to transform lives for good.

The distance from TLG’s Bradford Education Centre, an alternative provision school, to the Hull Education Centre is approximately 65 miles. This is the distance that as TLG interns we will be collectively walking/running over the 28th and 29th May - 13 miles each. This route is significant because the Bradford EC marks the beginning of TLG, and the Hull EC is the most recent centre to be set up which launched at the beginning of 2020 – so along the way we’ll be sharing about different milestones in the TLG story and how we got from Bradford to Hull, with all the exciting bits that happened in between!

Sadly, because of the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions we won’t be able to do the challenge all together or all in one go, so we’ll be doing the challenge over two days and powering through on our own or with the support of people we’re living with! We hope that by seeing and hearing about the incredible work TLG are doing during this time you will understand why we are going ahead with our challenge despite the restrictions of lockdown – the children, young people and families that we support all over the UK need us now more than ever.

Our target is to raise £2,000 for TLG so that together we can bring hope and a future to struggling children by supporting children at crisis point in education, struggling to stay in school, or battling holiday hunger.
