Having entered the London Marathon for the last 10 years only to be unsuccessful each year in the ballot, through a slice of good luck & fortune I've finally managed to secure a place with my companies chosen charity partner. 

Being no stranger to running races and having competed in several 1/2 marathons including the Great North Run and Birmingham Marathon in 2017, this iconic race has been on my list to do for many years. 

I am thrilled and delighted to be taking part in this years event and will be looking to raise awareness and funds for Emmaus as I take on this challenge.

Emmaus UK supports formerly homeless people by giving them a home, meaningful work in a social enterprise and an opportunity to get back on their feet again.For many who ever experience homelessness one of the biggest obstacles they must overcome is a loss of self-esteem. Emmaus provides people with a stable home and the opportunity to regain their self-worth, making a real contribution to their community.
