Story
On Easter Sunday, a 7 year old boy - son of an old school friend - ran a marathon in his garden. He has raised over £4,000 so far for the NHS. Just let that sink in... 7 years old, running 26 miles. Simply incredible!
He's inspired me to also push myself. The furthest I've even run was the Portsmouth Marathon in December 2019. It hurt like hell. And I vowed never again. But given the pain and commitment of NHS workers during this pandemic, I should at least try to push myself too.
So without even thinking it through, I've opted to run (let's be honest, gently jog) 34 miles in the shape of the letters NHS. Geek I know, but what can you do! I'll be starting from Grantham and finishing in Grantham - no travel required. I had originally planned on jogging along the Grantham canal to my beloved City Ground in Nottingham but changed the plan due to government guidelines on 'non essential travel' (as I had planned to catch a train back home).
If friends and family could just donate a pound each to help support the NHS, it'll be all worth the pain.

Love to you all and stay safe!! Trev x
