With Covid-19 resulting in increased disconnection and loneliness, the need for connection and friendship has never been greater. Thats why Im taking on a 10k in the #RemoteRelay, and raising money for South London Cares. South London Cares is a community network of younger (18+) and older neighbours (65+) sharing laughter, fun and friendship. Since the start of the pandemic, theyve been keeping our community connected through Virtual Social Clubs on Zoom, one to one phone friendships phone friendships, #AloneTogether packs full of daily creative activities and regular check-in calls with the most isolated in their network. Between the 3rd and the 17th of May, Im taking part in South London Cares #RemoteRelay. Please consider donating to help me keep these vital connections going during this time of uncertainty.
