Story
My personal goal this year is very dear to my heart. My granny Ann, my queen, my world, my everything has dementia and so I am on a mission to raise over £1000 for Alzheimer’s Society as part of Dementia week.
When I set this personal goal I wanted to align it with something that will push me out of my comfort zone, something that scares me.
After several hours of talking myself out of it...
I decided I am going to feel the fear and do it anyway and raise money by jumping out of a plane during Dementia week on Saturday 20th May.
I can hear many of you say "I could never do that I am scared of heights" well you and me both! I would be lying if I said the thought of heights petrified me let alone the thought of jumping out of a plane feels me with anxiety.
However, my granny Ann means the world to me and Alzheimer’s Society is such an amazing charity that is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer’s Society will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
Support me and my granny Ann to help raise my target of over £1000 for Alzheimer’s Society as part of Dementia week.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance x
