Ride-a-thon for Alzheimer's Research 2023. Who is keen for a bit of fun, get out riding, count your kilometres plus raise funds and awareness for Australian Alzheimer's Research Foundation. A few of us are doing just this and thought it would be a great idea to promote the idea to other riders to encourage people to get out there plus support a great cause. So the idea goes like this Commencing Saturday 8th April, challenge yourself to ride a distance during the next 9 weeks concluding 10 June 2023. You choose your own distance. Nominate to ride **** 50 km (5.5km per week average) = $25.00 *** 100 km (11.11 km per week average ) = $50.00 ; or *** 150 km (16.6 km per week average ) = $75.00 then donate the above amount (or more if able) to Alzheimer's Research Foundation WA. You will also receive a tax deductible receipt for your donation. You can share the distance between 1 or more horses, as long as it gets you out riding. Feel free to use the `wine and horses in Perth Hills' or `Northam Ride for Alzheimer's facebook page to buddy up and find riders in your area. This is a personal challenge to motivate and encourage us all to get out riding. it is not in any way organised by myself or Wine and Horses in Perth Hills, so all riders ride at their own risk and are personally responsible for their own safety etc.
