Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our Dad was the rock of our very close family.

He was a loving and devoted  husband to our Mum Brenda, a wonderful Dad to Tina, David and Wendy, and a fantastic and fun loving Grandad to Amy, Abbie, Ellis, Madison and Amelia.  Alongside this he was a friend to so so many.

Dad died on 7th April after a very short illness which transpired to be lung cancer.

UCL critical care gave Dad the best care for the last 12 days of his life. They were respectful and so caring and spent each day ensuring both him and us were comfortable and informed.  We could not have asked for better care for a man who spent his life making sure everyone around him was ok before himself.

Dad would have given the last penny to anyone around him who needed it, he would have, and did, help so many willingly during his life.

His loss to our family is immeasurable and  to know he is no longer guiding us hurts beyond words but we are so thankful that the care he received from UCL was fitting to the wonderful man he was.  It’s for this reason we would like donations, in his memory, to the UCL Charity so their work can continue helping others like our dear Dad.

We are so proud of him and his strength to the end.

We will devote the rest of our lives to making him proud.
