Story
**Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page**
Running the London Marathon is a challenge I set myself 12 years ago when my dad died from a heart attack. He was 58 years old. He enjoyed running so it must be in the blood! Getting the chance to run in his memory means such a lot to me.
I am also running to raise money in memory of my friend Steve Wilson - a work colleague, husband of my very good friend Natalie and father to 6 month old Edward. Steve died last year from the heart muscle disease cardiomyopathy. He was 44 years old.
The Cardiomyopathy Association is a charity that provides information and support to people and families affected by cardiomyopathy. The Association gets no Government funding, relying on the generosity of supporters' donations to fund their support work which costs over £480,000 a year. Your money really will help make a real difference.
I know times are hard but I would be incredibly grateful if you could spare even £1 to help support me for my chosen charity. It would mean so much to me to be able to help the charity who provided Steve and Natalie with such invaluable support.
xxxx Thank you, thank you, thank you xxxx
