Tina Pedersen is raising money for Dreamflight
Story

Earlier this year I was asked to take part in an annual trek up Mount Fuji to raise money for Dreamflight. For those of you know haven't heard of Dreamflight before it is an amazing charity. Each year they bring 192 ill children between the ages of 9-13, often with life threatening illnesses, to Florida for a once in a life time holiday. Here is a brief summary of this year's children
The kids this year have a mixture of complicated, often stormy medical conditions and prognosis. Some of the more severe cases include an inoperable brain tumour, cerebral palsy, 3 children with cancer and 1 with an advanced level of leukaemia. All of them are from socially deprived backgrounds where a holiday to Florida, with the level of medical care and equipment required, would be unimaginable without Dreamflight.
It is upsetting to say that 4 of the 16 have very little time left in this world, and this 10 day holiday of a lifetime really will be the last and only chance they have. We will be doing everything and anything within our power to ensure that their short lives of pain, suffering, hospital visits, treatments and medication are temporarily forgotten, and the magic of Mickey, Disney, the Dolphins, Florida and each other, are the memories they take with them.
As all of the children need assistance, supporting them is are a team of doctors, nurses and volunteers.
In total it costs £850 000 to send them away but I think it is worth every penny and I hope you do too. So please help me raise money for this worthy cause
