I had the honour of caring for mum for several years and whilst it was extremely difficult at times, I wouldn't change it for anything. She felt safe and she felt loved. She was an amazing woman who taught me so much about love, compassion and forgiveness. This is for you mum, and for all of those families who have experienced this terrible illness. Hopefully one day, with enough fundraising, a cure will be found x
