Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm currently training for the 2010 Virgin London Marathon, and I'm aiming to raise as much money as possible for 3 charities which are very close to my heart: Cancer Research UK, the Highland Hospice and Headway.

Sadly I can't put all the charities on one fundraising page, so this is the fundraising page just for Headway, the brain injury association.

As many of you will know, my boyfriend's father suffered a heart attack nearly 3 years ago and suffered severe brain injury during the time that his heart wasn't functioning properly. Headway is a charity which offers support and practical help and advice to people with brain injuries, and their friends and families too.

Running the London Marathon is a once in a lifetime challenge for me and I'm aiming to raise as much money as possible, so please donate to spur me on through my training (which is extremely tough already, might I add)!

I will put regular updates on this page so please come back and check it regularly.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please dig deep and donate now. Even the smallest amount will help.
