The 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE 2011

(climbing Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Mount Snowdon in under 24 hours.....)

Well you probably know that Britain's beautiful mountainous areas can only be made safe by a wholly-charity-funded Search and Rescue team of brave volunteers.

 

So I decided to set myself the challenge of climbing the 3 HIGHEST MOUNTAINS in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours, in an attempt to raise awareness and funds for this vital cause.

 

This may sound like a bit of a mammoth challenge (considering my last DUCK enterprise consisted entirely of wearing a silly yellow hat), but seems like a veritable walk in the park when you consider that my group contains 3 of the most sensible, most trusted people I know (and Sarah as well).

 

Don't think we'll get far?  Any sponsorship, no matter how small would be appreciated.  And would go a long way towards providing everything Mountain Rescue need to make Britain's mountains safe for everyone!
