We provide life-saving heart surgery to children from developing countries

Story

Through running the 2017 London Marathon I want to help raise awareness and funds for the beautiful charity that is Chain of Hope, which provides children in developing and war-torn countries with access to high-quality life-saving treatment for heart disease.

It is estimated that as many as 15 million children die or remain severely ill every year through potentially treatable or preventable cardiac diseases.

Since 1995, Chain of Hope has been working towards the long-term goal that all children, wherever they are born, have access to quality cardiac care in their own countries. A chain of volunteer surgeons and medical teams are ready to provide the urgent medical care the children desperately need - but they need you to complete the chain.

Your support can help fund immediate life saving surgery and establish vital cardiac services in developing countries.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
