Thank you for visiting my fundraising page supporting the work of Catholic Charities Atlanta. Catholic Charities Atlanta is an incredible organization with a mission to not just assist those in need, but to enable others to overcome boundaries and become self sufficient. Their diverse set of services includes legal aid for immigration, counseling, and assistance for veterans, among others. The one that stands out to me the most is their refugee support program. My mother has volunteered for this program for many years. Through this program, I have seen the American Dream come true more times than I can count. These families come over with nothing - fleeing a country that has persecuted them, and with the help of Catholic Charities Atlanta, they become self sufficient. I've seen the most amazing success stories: careers created, homes purchased, moves to new cities, families grown. I've seen families connect with friends and other families, kids go to college, and new lives created. All this was possible because of the support from Catholic Charities Atlanta. They provide support services for housing, job readiness, schools, medical, and help obtaining basic needs as a US resident.
