Back at the turn of the century my Great Grandfather used to ride "Off road" on his Penny Farthing, usually starting west of London not a million miles from where I will start this ride. He used to ride miles, to places including Brighton and The Isle of Wight. Now I'm not using a Penny Farthing, rather a state of the art Mountain bike but I may well ride some of the kinds of roads that he did in 1882/3. 

Also ... The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
