Story

Thank you very much to everybody who has logged on to this page and sponsored me. I cannot express how overwhelmed I have been at everybody’s generosity.

Having swapped the sit ski and white slopes for the race chair and roads I have come to the conclusion that I am definitely built for going down hill rather than up and can not wait to get back out on to the slopes and progress even further this year.

I was very pleased to have finished the race as the dreams before hand had been suggesting that I might not even start let alone finish and I did have to do a quick tyre change on the Saturday after discovering a flat!

My overall time was 1:14, which I was seriously chuffed about convincingly beating my target of 80 mins.

Thank you all once again for helping me go way beyond my fundraising target. Disability snowsport UK, the Team and I cannot thank you enough. All the money raised will be put to great use for equipment, training and helping many people with disabilities get a chance to try out an amazing sport that I so much love.
