Story
For our wedding we've decided to suggest donations instead of asking for gifts. We love the idea that our wedding can be something that supports our local community. We've chosen Paul's Place as we recognise how lucky and fortunate we are to have a life without barriers, taking for granted how easy it has been for us to access education, go to University, find work, find somewhere to live and find each other!
We've also chosen Paul's Place as they are a small local charity and we trust that any donations will go directly to where they are most needed, particularly as they are continuing to meet demand for essential support in the midst of Covid-19 where many charities are facing reductions in income due to fundraising events being cancelled.
Thank you so much for your donation
'Established in 1995, the mission of Paul's Place is to enhance the lives of physically disabled adults and those with cognitive and sensory impairment, supporting them to live life to the full. They do this through projects and activities that, provide social activities that connect people, build friendships, reducing loneliness and isolation; encourage people to develop new skills and achieve independence and develop opportunities for people to improve their health and wellbeing.'
