Tim's The Big Bike Ride 2015

The Big Bike Ride 2015 · 6 June 2015
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Brain tumours are one of the biggest cancer killers of people under 40 and are the most common malignancy and cause of death in children. Even bigger than Leukaemia. Currently, brain tumours can not be prevented because their cause is still unknown and with over 120 different types of brain tumour it makes effective treatment very difficult. Furthermore, given their location at the control centre for thought, emotion and physical function; Brain Tumours can have an impact on the quality of life of the individual as well as their family and friends.
That's where this amazing Charity has helped our family - both with supporting my father in law who has a Brain Tumour, along with supporting research via funding for a lab based at the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine.
Participating in The Big Bike Ride is my way of saying thanks and anything that you can do to support this event is much appreciated.
Many thanks
Tim & Kerrie
