Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, especially those who are returning for the 2nd year running.
This year I am not going to be taking so long a trip, but it's going to be harder. For those who may not know, last year I rode with two wonderful friends from Land's End to John O'Groats. We had some amazing help and support from loads of people along the way and had a great time. Even before we finished we had taked about the next challenge and we thought about riding London to Paris over the Easter bank holiday. Well unfortunately Peter and Katie were not able to do that weekend, but I decided to continue (with some minor modifications!).
The week after Easter is the Paris marathon, in which I have some friends running. So this years challenge is to get from Big Ben to Dover and then navigate through France to Paris, before they finish the marathon; and to make sure I am there to get them their well deserved beers!
So I will be leaving Big Ben at 5am Saturday 6th March and hope to be in Paris before 11am.
Many people donated last year and for that I am incedibly greatful and so please do not feel you need to do so again. However, dementia is not going away and we still need to understand what is happening, so if you feel you would like to donate please do.
