Story

Well ……. I’ve only gone and agreed to do the bike ride from London to Paris AGAIN!!!

Having completed it last year, I was clearly on a high when we finished as I said I would sign up for this year, HOWEVER since last year I have not done one bike ride … shame on me!!

That means I have set myself an even greater challenge than last year as I must start training quickly to be able to sensibly tackle the ride to Paris.

So why did I agree to do the ride again, I hear you say?

The Bloodwise Charity does some amazing work, on the ride last year I had the pleasure of spending time with other riders who are going through treatment for blood cancer, some riders who have been cured of the disease and sadly some riders who had lost loved ones to this awful disease.

Whilst the ride was the most difficult physical challenge I have ever attempted, the stories, the charity and the ride left me inspired to try and help, and for that reason I agreed to do it again.

Unfortunately for me I have not trained or been on my bike, I’ve put a stone on in weight and therefore not in the greatest condition to do the ride, but if I can raise a few extra £££’s then it will be worth the pain, sweat and tears.

Please ……… please help the Charity by sponsoring me …… EVERY pound raised goes directly to the Charity as I will be paying my way over the four days.

500 km over 4 days ……….PLEASE HELP 😊
