We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

In January 2016, after a two year battle, my sister "Rose" lost her life to cancer.  As a nurse, she spent her life caring for other people and when the time came, the quality of care and the compassion shown by the Marie Curie nursing team was quite fantastic.

In memory of my sister, I would like to raise some money for Marie Curie, to enable them to continue to deliver the quality of care that other people may need when they require end of life care.

On 01st May 2016 I am undertaking one of the toughest single day mountain biking events in the UK, 75 km of epic, challenging trails through the Scottish Borders, massive climbs and lots of technical single track.  This will be a huge physical and mental challenge, but I am determined to complete the course in less than 8 hours.

Please accept my personal thanks for your donation in advance; every penny goes towards the delivery of the fantastic care that Marie Curie provides.
