Story
Hey
Firstly thanks for having a look at my fundraising page. I'm Tim, son in law of Anne who was diagnosed with Neuroendrocine Cancer over 7 years ago. I was originally jumping with my brother in law Chrissie but due to unforeseen circumstances I am now jumping with my wife Kirsty. You can check out her just giving page here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/christopher-hall39
Neuroendrocine Cancer is an uncommon cancer and until I met my Mother in Law I had never even heard of it. Unfortunately patients with Neuroendrocine Cancer are often misdiagnosed with other conditions and it takes on average 4years for them to get a diagnosis of Neuroendrocine Cancer by which time around half of patients have Stage 4 cancer and are likely to spend the rest of their lives with cancer.
Neuroendrocine Cancer UK supports and inform patients and families from diagnosis, enabling access to the best care and treatment, whilst stimulating Neuroendocrine Cancer research, increasing national awareness and influencing improvements in outcomes.
I have chosen to do a Sky Dive for NCUK because I see the effects Neuroendrocine Cancer has had on my Mother in Law and our Family but I have also seen the support NCUK has given her. By sponsoring me to Sky Dive for NCUK you will be helping to support those with Neuroendrocine Cancer and helping to raise awareness of Neuroendrocine Cancer itself.
